About
Dr. Nivedita Kapoor is a Child Specialist and Allergy Specialist with more than 20 years of clinical experience caring for newborns, infants, children and adolescents. She delivers evidence-based, compassionate paediatric care with a strong focus on growth and development, childhood allergies, vaccination, infant nutrition, newborn health, paediatric endocrinology and Type 1 diabetes.
Previously In-charge of a Government Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), she brings deep expertise in managing high-risk newborns, premature babies and complex paediatric conditions. At Diabetica she leads care for children living with Type 1 diabetes — early diagnosis, insulin management, CGM guidance, nutrition, diabetes education and long-term complication prevention — partnering with families so both children and parents can manage diabetes with confidence.

Areas of focus
Type 1 diabetes and paediatric endocrine disorders — childhood obesity, growth disorders, short stature, delayed puberty, thyroid, and vitamin D & calcium disorders. Childhood allergies including food, milk, skin (eczema), allergic rhinitis, recurrent wheeze, asthma and urticaria — with a focus on identifying root causes, not just symptoms.
